Santos Named A+ Central's #1 Hurler Friday, October 18th , 2041 The 2041 High-A Central Outstanding Pitcher Award has gone to West Michigan Whitecaps ace Dani Santos after a stellar 18-3 season. In 27 starts he piled up 216.1 innings, 237 strikeouts, 63 walks and a 1.87 ERA. Santos held opposing hitters to a .164 batting average. He received 12 first place votes, as a unanimous winner. Juan Moreno of the Quad Cities River Bandits finished second in voting, while Al Martin of the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers finished third.
