Jenkins Wins AL Honor Monday, September 9th, 2024 Bob Jenkins demonstrated his potential to be a star in the game last week and today he took home the American League Player of the Week Award. The Baltimore catcher wreaked havoc on opposing pitchers last week, pounding them for a .435 average (10-for-23) with 4 home runs and 10 RBIs on his way to claiming the honor. So far in 2024 Jenkins is batting .268 with 32 home runs, 85 RBIs and 68 runs scored. He has 121 hits in 451 at-bats and a .372 OBP. |
