Done Deal: White for Ortiz Monday, May 5th, 2025 The Detroit Tigers have parted ways with 23-year-old minor league RHP José Liriano, 22-year-old minor league 1B Gabe Roberts and 30-year-old 3B Mikey White in a trade with the Seattle Mariners for 23-year-old 2B Jon Adams, 29-year-old RHP Luis Ortiz and 21-year-old minor league RHP Jesús López. Tigers general manager Eric Oliver confirmed the deal in an announcement this morning. Thus far this year White has hit .208 with no home runs and 2 RBIs. This season Ortiz has compiled a 4-0 mark, 1.54 ERA and made 5 starts. |
