Ortíz 5-for-5 for New York (A) Saturday, April 24th, 2027 António Ortíz exploded for a barrage of base hits today at Yankee Stadium. The New York (A) first baseman had a field day in the 10-7 triumph over the Toronto Blue Jays, finishing 5-for-5. "My hitting philosophy is simple," he said. "I focus on just seeing the ball and I try to get a good pitch." Ortíz must have focused at least 5 times and apparently got some good pitches, too, leading to one of his best days ever with the bat. António Ortíz singled in the 2nd, hit an RBI single in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, singled in the 7th and hit a two-run single in the 8th.
