AL Announces 2041 Best Rookie Vote Sunday, November 17th , 2041 Víctor Castillo was the creme de la creme this year -- the cream of the first-year player crop in the American League. Today he was honored with the Rookie of the Year Award for 2041. Castillo started 31 games and posted a 15-6 record. The Baltimore starter struck out 226 and walked 78 in 185 innings as he compiled a 1.95 ERA. He received 1 first place votes, as a unanimous winner.
