Suspensions Handed Out for Bench-Clearing Brawl
Tuesday, June 12th, 2029
Pat Thomas of the Chicago (A) White Sox and Shelby Miller of the Toronto Blue Jays will be on the sidelines for a few days. They have been suspended for 5 and 6 games respectively by the league office for causing the bench-emptying free-for-all at the recent White Sox-Blue Jays game at U.S. Cellular Field.

Neither player had any comment about the suspensions. Both clubs told BNN Thomas and Miller will begin serving them soon.

To date this season Thomas is hitting .305 with 16 home runs.

Thus far this season, Miller has worked 76 innings with 41 strikeouts en route to a 6-3 record and a 4.62 ERA.
