Week's Top Performer Honored by AL Monday, June 14th, 2027 At the age of 27, Bernardo Rodríguez might have some potential he hasn't realized yet -- if his success at the plate last week is any indication. The Tampa Bay first baseman put up some exceptional numbers the past seven days with a .433 batting average. For his efforts Rodríguez collected the American League Player of the Week Award. He racked up 13 hits in 30 at-bats, 6 home runs and 14 RBIs last week in 7 games. Thus far this year Rodríguez is batting .265 with 14 home runs, 44 RBIs and 43 runs scored. |
