Season-Ending Injury for Ed Baxter Tuesday, March 18th , 2042 The Atlanta Braves were dealt a severe blow when Ed Baxter was hurt throwing a pitch recently in a game against the Jacksonville Bombers. After the game, the team trainer reported Baxter might have to spend a lengthy time on the injured list. Today doctors confirmed it, ruling the 42-year-old starting pitcher out for the rest of the season with a damaged elbow ligament. They indicated it would take Baxter at least 12-13 months to heal. |
