McCain Wins AL's Best Bat Trophy Monday, June 1st, 2026 Greg McCain made his presence known as one of the best young stars in the American League this past month. The Boston Red Sox right fielder shined through the month of May and has won the Batter of the Month award. The 25-year-old hit .356 with 9 home runs, 28 RBIs and 24 runs scored. This year McCain has hit at a .291 clip with 57 hits, 19 home runs, 47 RBIs and 39 runs scored. |
