Masuda Slugs Centaurs to 7-4 Win
|
Getting offensive support from Bunjiro Masuda, the Kansas City Centaurs topped the Louisville Mashers, 7-4. Masuda was 3 for 4 with 2 home runs and a walk. He scored 3 runs and drove in 2 for the Centaurs. With the win, Kansas City raised its record to 91-70.
The Centaurs benefited from a costly error in the bottom of the seventh. With Benjamin Muller at bat and Kansas City leading 5-4, the Louisville miscue allowed Kansas City to plate 1 and take the lead, 6-4.
"Chalk one up for the good guys," said Muller. "I'm sure our fans enjoyed that win."
