BNN Says Fire Manager Myers Gone
Saturday, October 30th , 1999
Reports surfaced earlier today that Anchorage Fire manager Justin Myers might not hold on to his job much longer. A few hours later, the team confirmed those rumors and announced that Myers had been dismissed.
"We're not totally shocked," one player said. "You could feel the tension every day at the ballpark. We all knew something had to give, and now it has."
Team officials said a list of candidates has been prepared and the process of finding a new manager would begin soon. They declined to discuss potential candidates.
