SA-A Player of the Week Chosen

Jon Barnes must have thought he was dreaming. First he went on an exceptional week-long batting spree, bashing the ball at a .444 clip, then the Cagliari Academy right fielder finds out he has been chosen the league's best performer and gets the SA-A Player of the Week Award.
He told BNN reporters in the postgame, "It was a great week for me. I could see the ball so well. Plus some of the balls seemed to have good eyes, too."
For the week Barnes batted .444 (8-for-18) with 1 home run and 4 RBIs.
