Brody Connors of the Bradenton Marauders had a fine season this year and today he accepted the Most Valuable Player Award for 2030.

The 24-year-old shortstop put up a .327 average and a .466 on-base percentage, piling up 161 hits, 23 doubles, 3 triples, 52 home runs, 160 RBIs and 146 runs scored.

He received 10 first place votes, as a unanimous winner. Yordany De Los Santos of the Bradenton Marauders finished second in voting, while Eduardo Oviedo of the Bradenton Marauders finished third.

The votes have been tabulated for the 2030 Florida State League Pitcher of the Year Award. It has been given to Tommy Jackson of the Clearwater Threshers, who piled up 14 wins this season with an impressive 2.44 ERA.

In 26 starts Jackson had a 14-5 mark with 255 strikeouts in 169.2 innings.

He received 10 first place votes, as a unanimous winner. Ian Connolly of the Lakeland Flying Tigers finished second in voting, while Ken Iturbe of the Clearwater Threshers finished third.
