Outstanding Pitcher Award Goes to Jackson Hurler Wednesday, October 4th , 2051 José Gil is the latest Texas League Outstanding Pitcher Award winner. The Jackson starter really shone on the hill time and again and finished 2051 with a sparkling 14-8 record.
In 28 starts, he fanned 160, walked 37 in 189 innings and posted a 2.33 ERA. Gil held opposing hitters to a .273 batting average.
