Manager Martínez Gone in Asheville
Friday, November 13th , 2048
Asheville Tourists general manager Joe Unknown today fired his manager, Júlio Martínez, citing "failure to utilize all elements of his roster properly."
Speaking to reporters while cleaning out his office, Martínez was asked to comment on that assessment.
"Part of a team's success comes from the talent that is put on the field every day. It's common knowledge that the Tourists are missing a few key components," he said. "I got the best out of the talent I was given. Maybe the wrong person was fired?"
