Starlings Deal Polar Bears 4-2 Defeat
Keystone pitcher Denny Neagle did his part in helping his team beat the Toronto Polar Bears, 4-2. The left-hander kept opposing batters in check throughout the game. Roberto Hernandez was credited with the save. He has now successfully converted 12 of 13 save opportunities. The Starlings go to 63-95 with the win.

The Polar Bears had been locked in a 0-0 tie with the Starlings going into the top of the second inning. That changed quickly when the former first round draft pick Cecil Fielder came to the plate. Fielder hit a 2-run home run on a 1-0 forkball from Toronto hurler Brian Holman. It was Fielder's 34th home run of the year.

"I felt we were ready to go," said Keystone manager Douglas Aiton. "Our pregame was pretty good."
