Postseason Bid Ends for Cleveland Tuesday, September 25th , 1990 The Cleveland Barons quite simply didn't have what it took this year. The club was formally eliminated from playoff qualification in 1990. "It feels bad," said Barons first baseman Keith Moreland, when asked for his response by reporters. "Having your biggest hopes of the year dashed feels bad." Cleveland last appeared in the postseason in 1974. This is their 16th consecutive year missing the playoffs, and in total they have not advanced past the regular season 24 times in their 28-year history. |
