Colts Heading to Semi Series Wednesday, October 10th , 1990 The Chicago Colts were paced by a strong offensive output from Ivan Calderon as they downed the St. Louis Maroons 4-3 to win the Hex Series. Chicago won the final game by a score of 13-5 at Comiskey Park to send themselves off to the Semi Series. "I wasn't so much focused on putting up big offensive numbers as I was about ensuring we won the games. So it's mission accomplished there," said right fielder Calderon, who was named MVP. For the series, the MVP hit .424 with a .441 on-base percentage. He had 2 home runs, drove in 6 RBI and scored 7 runs. The Chicago Colts will play against the Los Angeles Outlaws in the next round.
