Atlanta Hilltoppers Ship Hubbard to Manhattan Friday, February 1st , 1991 In a move that has fans in both cities buzzing, the Atlanta Hilltoppers and the Manhattan Gray Sox have agreed to a deal that will have 32-year old 2B Glenn Hubbard and a 3rd round draft pick heading to Manhattan in exchange for $1 in cash. Provided they pass a physical, the players should be with their respective teams in time for tomorrow's games. During his 1882-game career Hubbard has batted .272 and collected 1813 hits, 143 home runs and 737 RBIs. |
