AA Announces Best Pitcher for April

Randy O'Neal of the Sacramento Solons is in the spotlight today. The relief ace was voted the top pitcher in the American Association for April.
He compiled a 2-0 record and an ERA of 0.00 in 14 innings with 11 strikeouts. O'Neal nailed down 7 saves in 7 save opportunities.

Motley Garners AA Batter of the Month Award

Darryl Motley put together a good April to earn the American Association Batter of the Month prize. A virtual unknown, he made the most of his chance to prove to Salt Lake officials that he belongs on the big league roster.
The Bees left fielder posted a .366 batting average with 8 home runs, 21 RBIs and 24 runs scored.
