Soto Homers Twice in 12-8 BigStars Win
Behind the hitting of Vincente Soto, the Austin BigStars stopped the Daniel Brand A's, 12-8. Soto went 4-5 with 2 home runs and a double, while scoring 3 and driving in 3 for the BigStars. The triumph puts Austin at 83-59 for the season.

Austin used a well-timed hit by Juan Carlos Delvalle to capture the win. The center fielder socked a run-scoring double in the top of the sixth inning to put the BigStars ahead, 7-6. Though it was his only hit in 4 at-bats, it was important.

Delvalle told the Austin Herald: "Sometimes the big stage is not big enough for me."
