The Austin BigStars picked up a win at Lynx Park, knocking off the Vancouver Lynx, 3-1. On the mound for Austin was right-hander Juan Guerrero, who played a pivotal role in the win. The slumping Lynx have dropped 7 in a row.

Wally Adames, the 28-year old shortstop , had a direct impact on the outcome. Adames contributed a run-scoring ground out in the top of the fourth inning to put Austin up, 1-0.
