Kansas City-Brooklyn Deal: Trujillo for Daalmeijer Saturday, May 8th , 2032 In a move that has fans in both cities buzzing, the Kansas City Scouts and the Brooklyn Bats have agreed to a deal that will have 20-year old minor league SS Jorge Trujillo heading to Brooklyn in exchange for 27-year old LHP Randy Daalmeijer and 27-year old minor league LHP Melis Lagendijk. Provided they pass a physical, the players should be with their respective teams in time for tomorrow's games. Daalmeijer has no saves in 11 relief appearances this season with a 2-1 record and 4.30 ERA. |
