400 Homers for Turner Sunday, July 25th , 2032 The Cooperstown Camels defeated the Kittanning Union 8-5 yesterday in a game that featured Red Turner's 400th career home run. In the clubhouse, the Camels third baseman spoke about the milestone achievement. "To be honest, I don't even remember my first home run," he said. "But this one I don't think I'll forget. Who knows if I'll hit another hundred, or fifty, or even ten?" On his historic day, Turner banged out 2 hits in 5 at-bats and scored 1 run with 3 RBI. Turner is batting .308 with 2609 career base hits, including 522 doubles, 45 triples and 400 home runs with 1539 RBIs and 1352 runs scored.
