Bordonha on the Attack, Player of the Week

The hottest bat of the week belonged to Samana center fielder Joel Bordonha.
He went on a rampage last week against DAA hurlers and rapped out 10 hits in 28 at-bats for a .357 average while hitting 5 home runs, driving in 6 runs and scoring 8 runs -- numbers quite worthy of the DRBL Double A Player of the Week trophy.
Bordonha was honored today at a press conference.
Thus far in 2054, Bordonha is hitting .282 with 14 home runs, 47 RBIs, 66 runs scored and has compiled a .369 OBP.
