The Indianapolis Salukis did little to support starter Colton Laws against the Trenton Thunder, but it turned out he didn't need the help.

The right-hander spun a complete game shutout against the Thunder, striking out 10 and surrendering 5 hits. The performance from Laws allowed Indianapolis to escape with the 1-0 win despite an anemic offense.

"Nobody came to me and said 'Colton, we're gonna need you to win this one for us today,' but I could feel it," Laws told BNN reporters following the win. "I'm the guy that will step up for you when you need it."
