The Atlanta Braves defeated the Philadelphia Phillies, 18-12, at Citizens Bank Park. Atlanta right fielder Jarren Duran had a superb performance. He went 4-5 with 2 home runs, a triple, and a walk. He scored 4 runs and drove in 8. Jon Gray got credit for the win, improving to 9-6. He allowed 9 runs on 9 hits in 5.1 innings. The win lifted the Atlanta record to 63-44.

With Atlanta leading 2-1 in the top of the second, Duran hit a sinker from Logan Webb for a 3-run home run. It was his 5th home run of the season and put the Braves ahead, 5-1.

"It was one of those games where both teams were swinging the bat well," Duran said.
