Erla Dominates San Jose
The San Jose Giants struggled at the plate today against Hot Rods hurler Mason Erla, who shackled them on 6 hits while hurling a complete game 4-0 shutout.

"What can you say? We didn't hit well," said Giants skipper Dave Martinez in postgame comments. "Hopefully we shake this off and bounce back tomorrow."

Erla finished the game with 10 strikeouts and no walks in an excellent mound performance.

"He pitched real well," Bowling Green manager Chad Epperson said. "Mason made pitches when he had to. He hit his spots and did a great job of mixing in his changeup and using his fastball effectively."
