San Jose second baseman Geraldo Quintero had a day to remember today, 5-for-5 against the Down East Wood Ducks at Grainger Stadium as the Giants picked up a 11-2 victory.

"He was patient up there today," San Jose skipper Dave Martinez told the press after the game. "I like the way he waited for his pitch and wasn't overly aggressive. Quintero has a tendency to chase bad balls sometimes."

Geraldo Quintero walked in the 1st, hit an RBI double in the 2nd, doubled in the 4th, hit a three-run triple in the 5th, singled in the 7th and tripled in the 9th.
