Montgomery Now 2-0 After Subduing Yankees
Houston starter Jordan Montgomery put a stranglehold on the New York offense. The left-hander had complete command of his sinker in leading the Astros to a 6-0 win. Houston goes to 8-4.

In his 113-pitch effort, Montgomery allowed no runs on 3 hits over 8.1 innings. He walked 2 and struck out 5.

"We'll put this win in our pocket and go after the next one," said Montgomery.
