Miller on Fire, 5-for-5 Against Biloxi
|
5 times is the charm -- at least for Brian Miller.
The Reading Fightin Phils right fielder tore up the Biloxi Shuckers to the tune of 5 hits in 5 at-bats at FirstEnergy Stadium today. The offensive onslaught from Miller powered the Fightin Phils to a 7-0 win.
"Miller was a tough out today," Biloxi manager Brian Myrow said to the press in the postgame interview. "He hit some very good pitches with that quick bat of his. Not an easy out, that's for sure."
Brian Miller singled in the 1st, doubled in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, singled in the 6th and singled in the 8th.
For the year Miller is batting .280 with 2 home runs.
