Philadelphia Gets Riveting Walk-Off Win
|
Philadelphia Phillies starter Jose Quintana was in fine form against the San Francisco Giants at Citizens Bank Park, leading his team to a win, 4-3. The Phillies raised their record to 18-10.
The Phillies procured the win, in large part because of right fielder Bryce Harper. In the bottom of the tenth, he produced the game-winning run-scoring single.
"Jose was throwing strikes, locating well," said Philadelphia manager Boog Furtado.
