5 Straight Wins for Red Sox
In a low-scoring affair between the Boston Red Sox and the Houston Astros, pitcher Zack Wheeler was the difference between victory and defeat. The Boston right-hander earned accolades in the 3-1 Red Sox win. The save went to Edwin Diaz, number 9 for him. With their winning streak at 5, the Red Sox have raced to a strong start this season.

Boston used a well-timed hit by Ronald Acuna Jr. to capture the win. The right fielder socked a run-scoring double in the top of the fifth inning to put the Red Sox ahead, 1-0. Though it was his only hit in 4 at-bats, it was important.

"Nice to see our side come away with the win," Acuna Jr. said after the game.
