Acuna Jr. Tags Rockies for 6 Hits
Red Sox left fielder Ronald Acuna Jr. had his way with Colorado pitching today at Colorado Field and mauled them for 6 hits in 6 at-bats. His efforts were all in vain, though, as the Rockies ruined his great day by toppling the Red Sox, 14-13.

"I had a great day, but you've got to give Colorado credit, they did what they had to do to win," he told reporters after the game. "They weren't very impressed with my 6 hits."

"Oh, we noticed what Acuna Jr. did today," Rockies skipper Joel Hinds said. "He had quite a game. I can tell you this, we will pitch him a little differently the next time we face him."

Ronald Acuna Jr. tripled in the 1st, hit a two-run home run off Drew Rucinski in the 3rd, hit a solo-shot off Drew Rucinski in the 5th, hit an RBI triple in the 6th, singled in the 8th and hit a three-run home run off Justin Martinez in the 9th.

This year Acuna Jr. has hit at a .419 clip with 53 RBIs, 21 home runs and 56 runs scored.
