Stowers Leads Giants to 5-2 Win Over Twins
|
The San Francisco Giants dealt the Minnesota Twins a 5-2 loss at AT&T Park. Kyle Stowers was the star on offense. He was 3-3 with a home run, a double, and a walk. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2. The winner was San Francisco reliever Chad Green, now 2-1. The loser was David Robertson. The victory gives San Francisco a record of 28-20.
CJ Abrams hit a run-scoring double off David Robertson in the bottom of the seventh, which put the Giants in front, 3-2. In addition to the double, Abrams had 1 single, while going 2 for 3.
"I still think this team can play even better," Stowers told the San Francisco Today.
