AL's #1 Batter Announced Saturday, July 1st , 2023 Yordan Alvarez said it was "focus and determination" that led him to winning the June Batter of the Month award for the American League. Whatever it was, the Houston left fielder could not be denied, hitting .321 with 8 home runs, 29 RBIs and 18 runs scored to round out his great month. For the season Alvarez is batting .302 with 84 hits and 17 home runs. He has scored 44 times and batted in 65. |
