St. Louis-Minnesota Deal: Urquidy for Anderson Sunday, March 24th , 2024 The St. Louis Cardinals and Minnesota Twins have put the finishing touches on a deal that was weeks in the making. St. Louis will part with 28-year old RHP Jose Urquidy, while the Twins have dealt 25-year old RHP Ian Anderson. "This one took a while to figure out," said St. Louis general manager Johnny Rocha. "We must have gone back to the drawing board five or six times over the past few weeks. I'm glad we finally got the deal done. I think it is a good one for both clubs." During his career, Anderson has compiled a 15-16 record with a 4.71 ERA in 55 starts. |
