Arcia Cracks 3 HR for Rangers Monday, June 3rd , 2024 Texas Rangers shortstop Orlando Arcia slugged three home runs against the Milwaukee Brewers at American Family Field, but couldn't win the game all by himself. The Brewers spoiled his day by defeating the Rangers, 5-4. "The loss puts a damper on the outstanding game Orlando had, but people will be buzzing about this for days to come," Texas manager Glen Golden. "That's gotta be some consolation to him. But knowing Orlando, he would have preferred a win." For the game, Arcia was 3-for-4 with 4 RBIs and 3 runs scored. "The first two I got all of them and it was no doubt they were gone," Arcia said later. "It seemed like the wind helped it a little on that last one. I just wish Mother Nature had helped us win the game, too." Orlando Arcia hit a solo-shot off Paul Blackburn in the 2nd, struck out in the 4th, hit a two-run home run off Paul Blackburn in the 6th and hit a solo-shot off Patrick Ruotolo in the 8th. So far this season Arcia is batting .276 with 10 home runs, 33 RBIs and 23 runs scored. He has 47 hits in 170 at-bats, 12 walks and a .335 OBP. Arcia has played in 47 games. |
