Ozuna Joins 3-HR Club Saturday, August 10th , 2024 Whatever Marcell Ozuna ate for breakfast before his game against the St. Louis Cardinals today, it gave him some impressive power. The Los Angeles left fielder smacked three balls up and out of the park at Busch Stadium. His home run barrage led the Dodgers to take the 9-4 victory over the Cardinals. "When they throw it in your wheelhouse, you've got a shot at a homer," he told BNN reporters after the game. "I got three shots today and nailed them all." On his 3-homer day, he went 3-for-4, scored 3 times, drove in 5 and put on a display that history will remember. Marcell Ozuna walked in the 1st, hit a two-run home run off Ryan Feltner in the 2nd, hit a two-run home run off Chris Rodriguez in the 4th, hit a solo-shot off Chase Hampton in the 7th and flied out in the 9th. This year Ozuna is batting .274 with 118 hits, 37 home runs, 110 RBIs, 41 walks, .333 OBP and has scored 74 runs. |
