River Cats Thomas Named PCL's Best Pitcher Saturday, July 1st , 2023 The Pacific Coast League named the winner of the Pitcher of the Month Award. It went to Connor Thomas of Sacramento River Cats, who impressed the voters with a glittering 4-0 record in June. The Sacramento star hurler made 5 starts, allowed 31 hits in 28.2 innings, struck out 9 and had a 1.88 ERA. Thomas has gone 4-0 this season with an ERA of 2.32 and 10 strikeouts in 31 innings pitched. Other clubs are hitting .293 against him. |
