Norfolk Playoff Hopes Officially Zero Tuesday, August 22nd , 2023 The Norfolk Tides were stuck in the middle this season -- not competitive enough in the playoff chase to be considered relevant, but not far enough behind to be completely written off. Until now, that is -- today, the Tides were mathematically eliminated from playoff contention. This is the 4th time in a row that the Tides have missed the playoffs.Their last payoff appearance was in 2019. |
