Mountaineers Not Competitive in 7-0 Loss to Scranton WB Sunday, May 12th , 2024 The Scranton WB RailRiders shut out the Tulsa Mountaineers 7-0 today behind the strong pitching of Nick Margevicius. Margevicius surrendered only 2 hits in recording the complete-game victory, and struck out 4. Following the last out, Margevicius appeared to celebrate a little too boisterously for Tulsa manager Andy Tomberlin, who could be seen scolding the famously outspoken left-hander as the clubs left the field. Margevicius's own manager then intervened with some words for his counterpart. The Mountaineers skipper would not comment on the exchange, but at the RailRiders press conference, Margevicius confirmed that it was regarding the celebration. "He basically told me I was being a lousy winner," Margevicius said. "And I told him he was being a lousy loser," Scranton WB manager Robin Ventura added.
