IL's Top Player Named Monday, May 20th , 2024 It was announced today that Rochester right fielder Alexander Canario was named the International League Player of the Week Award for his superb play last week. During the week he compiled a .500 batting average (9-for-18) with 2 home runs, 6 runs batted in and scored 6 runs. This season Canario is swinging the bat at a .410 rate with 34 hits in 83 at-bats. To date he has hit 6 home runs, scored 17 runs and driven in 21. |
