Leopards Blank Colorado Springs, Hess Winner Friday, May 24th , 2024 All went well for David Hess of the Memphis Leopards as he pitched his team to a 8-0 shutout victory over the Colorado Springs Sky Sox, limiting them to 4 hits. In the postgame interview, both managers had glowing things to say about Hess on the day. "David's got a good selection of pitches he can throw at a guy," said Leopards manager Todd Pratt. "He changes speed, gives different looks to different hitters. When he's on his game, he's quite a handful." In the contest, the Memphis right-hander rang up 4 and surrendered 2 walks.
