Injury Brings Season to End for Neris Sunday, June 2nd , 2024 "Not what I wanted to hear," said Lehigh Valley's Hector Neris to reporters this afternoon, as he revealed that the injury he sustained on 05/30/2024 would force him to miss the rest of the season. "The doctor made it clear," Neris said. "There's no chance for me -- none at all -- to come back this year. That's the last thing I wanted to hear." Neris has been out of action since he suffered a torn rotator cuff. This year Neris has 2 saves, totaled 27.1 innings, allowed 20 base hits and fashioned a 2.63 ERA while racking up 28 strikeouts and a record of 1 win and 1 loss. |
