Kieboom and Lambert Suspended for Free-for-All Monday, April 22nd , 2024 Yesterday at Hank Aaron Stadium Carter Kieboom and Peter Lambert got into each other's space and then into each other's face. They began to grapple and fell to the ground. That's when it boiled over into a full-fledged bench-clearing tussle between the Mobile BayBears and Montgomery Biscuits. Reason finally prevailed as the umpires restored order. After much discussion, only the two major combatants were ejected from the game. Today the league office notified the ballclubs that Kieboom will have to sit out 4 while Lambert would be given a 6-game suspension for their roles in the brawl. For the year Kieboom is hitting .143 with no home runs. His stats include no runs batted in and 3 runs scored. |
