Season-Ending Injury for Palacios Friday, July 28th , 2023 Luis Palacios has to call it a season. The Stockton Ports reliever learned today that the full extent his injury suffered on 07/25/2023 is worse than hoped. He will not play again this year according to club doctors, who diagnosed the injury as a torn rotator cuff and stated that he would not be able to play for 12-13 months. The team will likely place Palacios on the injured list today. He has made 28 relief appearances this year with 2 saves. Palacios has achieved a 3-1 record while holding opposing hitters to a .279 batting average and posting a 4.02 ERA. He has tossed 47 innings, given up 51 base hits, fanned 42 and issued 24 walks. |
