Friday, October 6th , 2023
The future looks extremely bright for Livan Soto. At the age of 23, many players are still trying to find their way in High-A.

Soto has not only found his way, he's already established himself as one of the game's brightest stars, today being named the winner of the High-A Most Valuable Player Award.

"I didn't expect to hit .317 this year, that's for sure," the third baseman said.

The Columbus Hooks star also put up a .425 on-base percentage this year, with 124 hits, 24 doubles, 4 triples, 13 home runs, 54 RBIs and 68 runs scored.

He received 15 first place votes out of a possible 24. Bryce Ball of the Tucson Colt 45s finished second in voting with 5 first place votes, while Yohendrick Pinango of the Frederick Keys finished third with 2 first place votes.
