Tarpons Lead with Chin, Get KO'd, 10-0 Tuesday, April 30th , 2024 Today was Mason Erla's turn in the rotation for the Bowling Green Hot Rods and he made the most of it, shutting out the Tampa Tarpons on 6 hits. The 26-year-old right-hander led the Hot Rods to an easy 10-0 victory, allowing no walks and tallying 5 strikeouts. "I hope we miss him next time," Tampa manager Steve Frey said. "Erla certainly pitched a strong game against us today. He was in a groove, throwing everything for strikes. Throwing hard. Changing speeds."
