Injury Sidelines Alvarez for Season Monday, June 10th , 2024 "Not what I wanted to hear," said Potomac's Jhosmer Alvarez to reporters this afternoon, as he revealed that the injury he sustained on 06/09/2024 would force him to miss the rest of the season. "The doctor made it clear," Alvarez said. "There's no chance for me -- none at all -- to come back this year. That's the last thing I wanted to hear." Alvarez has been out of action since he suffered bone chips in his elbow. This year Alvarez has compiled a 3-2 mark with a 3.60 ERA. |
